Meet Our Doctors

Phillip Hadley, M.D., FACOG, FCLM
Principal Investigator

Dr. Hadley is a Fellow of the American College of OB/GYN and has been involved with clinical trials and research for over 22 years.

He is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist, having completed his OB/GYN residency at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C.

He retired from the US Army Medical Corps after serving twenty years in various leadership positions both in the US and abroad. He is an attorney licensed to practice law in Georgia and is a Fellow in the College of Legal Medicine. Dr. Hadley has been a strong advocate for lifestyle changes in the management of healthcare issues afflicting women.

Sonya D. Marks, M.D., FACOG
Principal Investigator | Sub-Investigator

Dr. Marks has served as Principal Investigator and Sub-Investigator with Soapstone Center for Clinical Research since 2017.

She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) and has more than 20 years of experience in women’s healthcare.

She graduated from the University Of Arkansas Medical Sciences College Of Medicine in Little Rock, Arkansas with her medical degree in 1999. Completed her residency training at John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Marks served as Sub-Investigator with Medical Network for Education and Research from 2007-2016. She currently practices as an OB Hospitalist at Wellstar Spalding Medical Center in Griffin, Georgia.
